A grant, not a dump
Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok should walk in already knowing you. A grant is how that history attaches. A normal chat with no grant still starts cold.
You need an account first. The partner token lives inside the vault after you sign in. Do not paste tokens on this page or in a screenshot.
Use a custom connector, not an OpenAPI Action.
| 1 | In Claude, add a custom connector pointed at https://grantfold.com/mcp. |
| 2 | Put the Claude partner token on the URL as ?token=. Leave the OAuth box empty. |
| 3 | Ask something you published. Claude should call query_grant before answering. |
This is a Custom GPT Action. It only runs when you open that GPT.
| 1 | Create a GPT. Import the Action from https://grantfold.com/api/v1/openapi. |
| 2 | Authentication is API Key, Auth Type Bearer. Paste the ChatGPT partner token. Not the Claude token. The spec must be OpenAPI 3.1. |
| 3 | Privacy policy: https://grantfold.com/faq. Test queryGrant, then Create. |
| 4 | Talk to that GPT. A normal ChatGPT chat still cannot see the vault. |
OpenAI will not attach a Custom GPT Action to every chat or Project. The closer path is a personal plugin.
| 1 | Settings, Security and login, turn on Developer mode. |
| 2 | At chatgpt.com/plugins, add an MCP server. URL is https://grantfold.com/mcp?token= plus the ChatGPT partner token. |
| 3 | Authentication is None. Grantfold has no OAuth. The token on the URL is the grant. |
| 4 | Connect, then open a Work chat, type @, pick Grantfold. |
Grok is a named partner in the vault, same as Claude and ChatGPT. Sign in and turn it on. A Grok chat with no grant still starts cold.
| 1 | Sign in. Open the partner list in your account. |
| 2 | Turn on Grok. It may query only the branches you granted. |
| 3 | Ask something you already published. If it starts cold, the grant is off. |
